Item Description

A classic and showy cluster of parallel-growth, "pokerchip" calcite rhombs from Charcas. The translucent rhombs have a nifty "sandwich" style, with colorless/light amber nearly transparent interiors with frosted, off-white outer layers. In great shape, with only trivial edge wear. From the well-known early 1960s finds. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection and obtained in 1962. Orangy-pink fluorescence.
