Plumbogummite (strong color) on Pyromorphite

Item Description

A very good and showy group of botryoidal, strong blue colored Plumbogummite from recent finds at the Yangshuo Mine in China. The largest "ball" measures 7 mm. With strong backlighting, the color really comes through. The underside of the piece reveals that the Plumbogummites have overgrown electric greenish-yellow colored Pyromorphite crystals. Choice material for the species and locality and the bit of damage is certainly not detracting from the excellent color and quality.
