Plumbogummite pseudomorphing after Pyromorphite

Here we have an attractive miniature specimen of this now classic material from the now famous discovery at the Yangshuo Mine featuring a group wonderfully cavernous / "hoppered" crystals of yellow-green Pyromorphite which have been partially pseudomorphed by sky blue Plumbogummite. The fact that one of the crystals measures over 4.0 cm is a big deal for the species, as most Pyromorphites rarely exceed 1-2 cm in length. There are some separation marks around the prism faces of the Pyromorphites where they were intergrown with other crystals at one point. Valued at $950 in the inventory. These specimens seemed to have quickly disappeared from the market, and if you're a collector of Chinese minerals, secondary ore minerals, or just pseudomorphs, you NEED to have one of these in your collection. Unique material, and just one of the many examples of the fantastic minerals to come out of China in the last 15 years or so.
