Item Description

Sculptural, ethereal vertical cluster of crystals,exhibiting parallel growth, of what once was pyromorphite , to 3.3 cm in length, but have been altered to a pastel blue color by plumbogummite. The Plumbogummite has almost, but not completely, replaced the original Pyromorphite. From an amazing find of about 2014-2015, from this remote lead mine in southern China. These stunned the mineral world - we had never seen anything like them. From the Keith Williams Collection of miniatures and small cabinet specimens - Keith was a well known dealer and collector for decades before retiring recently.
