A dramatically sculptural elongated cluster of light powder-blue pseudomorphs of plumbogummite after large pyromorphite crystals from the recent exciting finds at this well-known mine. The striking matte-finish pseudos reach 3.8 cm and the hoppered terminations on some of the crystals add real pizzazz. A bit more of the yellow-green pyromorphite shows through the back side. For the size, this two-sided piece has outstanding aesthetics and crystal density and is essentially pristine. Also, the crystal isolation is particularly noteworthy. Specimens of this quality are normally reserved for the Gallery, but we wanted our auction customers to have an opportunity to obtain a truly fine small cabinet example at a reasonable price point.
