Item Description

Sky blue crystals, to 3.7 cm in length, of hoppered plumbogummite after pyromorphite rest on the vestiges of the original, lustrous, olive green pyromorphite. This fine display specimen looks great in a case and has wonderful color. It is an excellent example in this size range, and has nice 3-dimensionality. From an amazing, perhaps unique find of this species, circa 2012 or so. Specimens came out of China only briefly, and no more of quality have been found since. This spectacular quality in the crystals and richness of plumbogummite is unique, and totally different than any other finds. Pieces like this were valued widely and variedly at the time, in the $5-10k range.
