Elongate yellow pyromorphite prisms in an aesthetic sculptural spray have been pseudomorphed by two generations of plumbogummite on this showy and colorful miniature specimen from finds about five years ago. The translucent matte-lustre pseudos reach about 1.5 cm long and some of the crystals are hoppered, adding character. The pseudos rest on a spare quartz matrix. The yellow pyromorphites were partially replaced by the first generation olive-green plumbogummite and you can see scattered patches of powder-blue second generation plumbogummite. Periphery wear on the sides reveals the original yellow pyromorphite cores, highlighting the pseudomorphism. No more of this style have been found since. An excellent example of this style.
