Plumbogummite (fine color)

A few years ago, the Yangshuo Mine in China produced some of the most attractive Plumbogummite specimens ever found, with some of the best form and the richest color seen for the species from any locality in the world. This small cabinet piece is filled with slightly velvety, botryoidal, translucent, gorgeous rich blue colored Plumbogummite on white Quartz matrix. The largest "ball" measures about 6 mm across. Nearly every "ball" is undamaged, the only real roughness is around the periphery where the piece was removed from the pocket wall. These specimens are quickly disappearing from the market, and if you collect secondary ore minerals, or simply fine quality examples of uncommon species, do not miss out on this one as they will be very hard to find soon.
