Plumbogummite (excellent color and quality)

These beautiful, fine quality and soon-to-be classic Plumbogummite specimens from the Yangshuo Mine in China do not get enough credit for their excellent color and quality. The best specimens that have come out of this locality are almost certainly the finest pieces of Plumbogummite ever seen. This miniature sized specimen is a wonderful piece of this superb quality material featuring spherical / botryoidal Plumbogummite "balls" covering the entire display side of the underlying Quartz matrix. The largest "ball" measures about 4 mm across. If you backlight the piece. you can see the vivid blue color come through. Pieces with color like this are becoming very hard to find on the market now, as nothing has come out of this locality for years.
