Plumbogummite (excellent color)

These contemporary specimens from recent finds at the Yangshuo Mine in China are some of the finest color examples of Plumbogummite in the world. This species is known from places like Roughton Gill in England, but those specimens are over 100 years old, and seldom seen on the market. This large miniature / small cabinet specimen features a coverage of botryoidal Plumbogummite with intense blue color on matrix. Great color when the piece is backlit. The piece is in great shape overall, but there are a few contacts that keep it from being 100% damage free. It appears that this material is no longer being found, so if you want one of these gorgeous specimens, don't miss out as they will become less available on the market.
