Item Description
Plattnerite specimens are EXTREMELY RARE from any of the 11 Idaho localities, that MINDAT lists for the species. Lustrous, bubbly botryoids richly encrust all sides of this showy, hefty and rich lead ore specimen (249 grams mass). Not pretty to look it, but a highly significant Idaho rarity. Ex Art Soregaroli Collection. A gift from Albert Swanson of Bovill, Idaho and collected in 1932, according to Art's label. A MUST for the locality or species collector.
