Item Description

An historic piece of this significant material from South Africa with a typed label from Ward's Minerals in Rochester, New York. This piece features a solid chunk of Pyroxene / Pyroxenite that contains micro grains of Platinum and Palladium. I looked at this piece with a microscope, and I found a couple TINY spots, but it's nothing truly significant. When it comes to Platinum, a lot of people think that Russia is one of the big producers, but over 80% of the world's Platinum is mined in South Africa!
