Item Description

Excellent locality specimen of the aluminum phosphate, Planerite. This turquoise-blue mineral is rare for the locality, and the Planerite would make a superb suite addition, along with the famous green Wavellites from here. The hundreds of Planerite balls on matrix average about 1 mm in size. This pretty small cab would stand out in any group of Arkansas minerals, few of which have any color like this. Originally priced at $250.
