Shimmering, chatoyant, soft to the touch felt-like pretty cornflower-blue puffballs of acicular plancheite crystals form a sculptural solid crust on this showy and sculptural small cabinet from this well-known mine. This mine has recently produced the world's finest carrollite specimens, a rare metallic Cu-Co-Ni sulfide. An uncommon and excellent example of the species and locale. Better in person!
