Item Description
A slice of liddicoatite tourmaline crystal, showing interestign patterns within. This is unusual for the clarity, as pink and then pink to clear slices are among the rarest compared to the more common green and dark colors. It is like looking through a window! The triangular patterning in this particular slice is extremely , unusually, sharp. It is 5.6 grams. We are honored to present another lot of deaccessions to auction from the collection of Jack Halpern of San Francisco, as featured in the Mineralogical Record, March 2005.
