Solid pink tourmalines are VERY RARE from the famous Mt. Mica Quarry. The gemmy and lustrous, 2.3 cm, light pink beauty is aesthetically set on a boxwork quartz matrix with accenting quartz points on both sides. Both ends of the tourmaline are contacted, but this remains an outstanding, very rare example of pink tourmaline from this noted locale. Classic, very desirable material from this locale.
