Item Description
A super and rare vivid pink tourmaline from the early 1960s find at the famous Golconda pegmatite. The gemmy and lustrous crystal is complete all-around and is pristine. It features textbook hexagonal crystal form. The termination area is particularly gemmy and the pinacoidal termination itself is lustrous and lightly etched/frosted. The internal crazing adds character to the crystal. Very seldom on the market in this quality! 25 grams. Ex. Robert Whitmore Collection # 8. Valued at $1200-1500.
