Item Description

Gem quality Corundum is literally found in every color of the rainbow (including black and white/colorless). I think most people are familiar with Ruby and Sapphire, the red Corundums are referred to as Ruby, but every other shade (blue, yellow, pink etc.) are Sapphires. Pink Sapphires are some of the most vivid and recognizable gems in the world. I've seen literally every shade of pink you can think of exhibited in Sapphires, and they are some of the most popular, durable, colorful and highly sought after gems on the planet. This stone has an strong pink color, and hails from what is one of the premier areas in the world for the material. The stone is very gemmy, with virtually no inclusions I can see with the naked eye, and has a standard "Step Oval" cut.
