Scintillating, gemmy and lustrous, pastel-pink, grossular garnet microcrystals cover the massive pink grossular matrix on this very rich and showy piece from the famous and closed Jeffrey Mine. There are some tiny, near colorless diopside crystals scattered about along with two, yellow-orange grossulars. Pink Jeffrey garnets are not that common and this is a highly representative example of the species. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!!
