Classic, peach-colored Fluorite twin from Chumar Bakhoor in the Himalayas. The crystal is gemmy, nicely twinned when viewed laterally, and it has a rich, royal-blue fluorescence. Highly representative of the great Fluorites from this region, this 4.8 cm crystal has quite a good aesthetic. The shape is due to twinning and it is actually a spinel law twin form of fluorite, but UNUSUALLY gemmy and transparent! That glassiness, shape, and color combination are rare enough. But the transparency - that takes it to another level. This is a competition level fluorite miniature of superb quality that is much better in person than photos can capture. See the video!
