Item Description
When it comes to Fluorite specimens, some of the very finest, if not the most impressive and highly sought after are those from the Swiss Alps. Pink and red Fluorite from the clefts in Switzerland are among those minerals that reach the highest caliber of beauty and rarity. Fluorite is by no means a rare mineral, but this particular hue is highly sought after and celebrated not only by the strahlers who find them, but also the collectors of European Alpine minerals worldwide. This piece is an excellent, beautiful, gemmy, rose-pink color crystal group of sharp, well-formed octahedral crystals of Fluorite, free of matrix. No damage that I can find on the display side of the piece and the color is gorgeous when it's backlit. A great Alpine treasure, especially from the world-famous Göscheneralp!
