Pink Fluorite

We were lucky to have had a relationship that allowed us access to the good specimens of this material, before the mining finished for good. Until these pink fluorites were discovered in Mexico, Peru and the Alps were the only sources for pink fluorite, and the cost of a specimen such as this was (and still is) astronomical from those localities. Occasionally, such as with this particular piece, you get fine clarity approaching Alpine pieces. These octahedrons measure up to 1.5 cm on edge.
