Item Description
We were lucky to have a relationship that allowed us access to the good specimens of this material, and we put some away just before the mining finished for good. Until these pink fluorites were discovered in Mexico, Peru and the Alps were the only sources for pink fluorite, and the cost of a specimen such as this was (and still is) astronomical from those localities. The octahedra on this large plate measure up to 1.8 cm on edge.
