Item Description
Certainly one of the rarest and most desirable Indian zeolites species are the pink apophyllite crystals from the one-time, 1970s find near Poona. Glassy, gemmy, pink, pyramidal crystals to 2.5 cm dramatically line the vug on natrolite-covered basalt matrix on this striking, CABINET specimen. The terminations are exceptionally gemmy. Very few were available and I have never seen one in this size and quality. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!! Valued at $1500-2000. Try to find another! In person, these sparkle like glass and are a vibrant pastel pink hue, hard to capture at the same time in photos here.
