Item Description
Pink Apatite from Pakistan is justifiably famous for its gorgeous color, sharp crystals, and textbook form. However, there has been a fair amount of it from time to time. What is really rare, remains the combination pieces with apatite and aquamarine on the same specimen, which is why Gene Meieran long kept this in his important and broad collection of gem minerals. The pastel pink apatite crystal measures to 4 cm tall on the biggest crystals, and the cluster itself is then 4 cm across. It is perched smartly next to a gorgeous gem aquamarine! It is this combination, and the pristine condition, that makes this so special. These combinations tend to be valued in the $5000-10000 range when we see them, in this size, which is rarely. However, this piece is special as the aquamarine is not flat and ingrown (as many are).
