Item Description
Here we have the only specimen that I've seen of Piemontite from Karystos which is a small coastal town on the Euboea (Evvia) in Greece. The piece features small, rich red crystals of gemmy Piemontite in whitish schist matrix. I obtained the piece from a Greek dealer, so I trust the source and the locality. A cool specimen of this lesser known member of the Epidote group.
