Item Description
Phosphosiderite, hydrated Fe-phosphate, is RARE from the well-known Stewart Mine, famous for "hot" pink and bi-colored tourmaline specimens and morganite specimens. Pretty violet tiny botryoids dramatically and colorfully fill a well-placed 3.5 x 3.5 cm vug in the starkly contrasting large sculptural matrix. Ex Bob Reynolds Collection, a well-known fossil and mineral expert and former Curator of the San Bernardino County Museum. He passed away in 2020. A VERY RARE, rich and exceptional large example of the species and locale. A MUST for the species or locality collector.
