Item Description
An exceedingly uncommon example of the rare earth phosphate silicate, Phosinaite-(Ce), which gets its name for being a phosphate silicate of sodium. I've never seen one in person before, and this one compares quite favorably to the few I could find online, especially since the largest crystal is over 10 mm! and is sitting in highly desirable pinkish-lilac Ussingite matrix. You just don't see these available in any capacity, so don't miss out on this one. Rarities like this are few and far between, and the Lovozero Massif is one of the great mineral rarity-producers in the world. Ex Paolo Matiolio collection.
