A sharp, blocky, 1.4 cm, semi-transparent, glassy, phosgenite crystal is very aesthetically set on 3-dimensional galena matrix on this excellent old-time specimen from the famous Monteponi Mine on Sardinia. Contacting with no damage and a super-trivial bit of termination edgewear is noted, but have virtually no impact on the overall importance of this classic and textbook specimen.
