Glassy, lustrous, translucent, phosgenite crystals richly and attractively cover the bit of galena matrix on this excellent old-time specimen from a classic locality - the Monteponi Mine in Sardinia. The largest crystal is 2.2 cm and all of the well-formed crystals are in great shape, with only modest periphery wear on the back side. Classic old-time material from a museum collection.
