A sharp, prismatic 1.4 cm, semi-transparent, lustrous golden Phosgenite crystal is very aesthetically set on Galena matrix on this old-time specimen from the famous Monteponi Mine on Sardinia. A classic specimen of this famous material. A cool little historic specimen from what is arguably the most famous Phosgenite locality in the world. The recent article in the Mineralogical Record details this amazing locality, and specimens like this are not common on the market.
