Item Description

An impressive, sharp, tapered, pseudo-hexagonal phlogopite crystal from Madagascar and the Bob Trimingham Collection. The interestingly skewed, laminated crystal has high luster and one beautiful edge of golden-amber translucence, in an otherwise, opaque crystal. Both of the pearlescent brown ends are cleaved, which has minimal impact on the quality and rarity of this fine crystal from this locale.
