It's rare to find 4-inch crystals of any Mica species in good condition, but this is not only an impressive Mica specimen, but also an antique piece dating back approximately 100 years. This large, bronze colored hexagonal crystal is a beautiful single, free of matrix. The piece is in good condition overall with no major damage to be seen. If you backlight the crystal, you can see it's actually gemmy inside. You just do not see pieces from Sydenham on the market in any capacity.
