Item Description
A classic specimen of textbook mica, of the variety Phlogopite, from the famous Franklin Quarry. These date to the 1800s and early 1900s, I have been told. It is a fine specimen with a well exposed crystal just over 4 cm tall, perched on fluorescent calcite matrix. Such items are now rare New jersey and USA collectibles, seldom on market. Ex Ray Lasmanis collection. It is a gorgeous example of this material.
