Item Description
This piece undoubtedly qualifies as a micromount or "macro" and is small but rich. Philipsburgite rarely comes in large crystals and this is a rich covering of the crystals over a shard of matrix. Although a small piece, it's quite impactful under a microscope or a loupe! The little fragment of matrix is COVERED in scores of glistening, emerald green spherules of Philipsburgite on multiple sides making for a goegeous little specimen! Philipsburgite is a relatively rare hydrated and hydroxylated Cu-Zn arsenate-phosphate. Valued $200-250
