Phenakite and fluorite combination specimens are a desirable and uncommon Colorado classic from this noted locale. About six, sharp, colorless, frosted, translucent phenakite crystals to 6 mm are nicely clustered on the ridge of massive fluorite dramatically capped by the glassy, light purple, 1.7 cm fluorite octahedron. Rich purple fluorescence on the fluorite. A fine and classic "old-timer", according to the Bob Trimingham Collection label.
