Some of the finest phenakite specimens in the world have come from 1960s finds at this well-known pegmatite. This is a classic and excellent flattened, gemmy, transparent to translucent, colorless, complex trigonal rhomb. Complete all-around and essentially pristine, the embedded muscovite plates add character to this fine thumbnail. A contact on the back is out-of-sight. From an East Coast collection.
