Item Description
A quintessential gem crystal of classic Phenacite from Brazil, probably from the famous finds of the 40's and 50's, with a really unique form and habit compared to other localities. The piece is sharp and mostly gem-clear, much cleaner than one usually sees these. It is complete all around save one small possible contact. Every face is lustrous and clear, which is why the photos are so reflective. It is much better in person, and was highly valued years ago when it first came on the market, and rightly so. This is one of the better such thumbnails of Phenacite I have seen for sale and should be recognized as an extreme rarity. It is valued $750-900 and comes from Charlie Key's personal thumbnail collection
