Item Description

Pharmacosiderite is an uncommon hydrated iron arsenate and is a desirable highly Cornwall classic. Scintillating, gemmy, mostly grass-green with some golden-amber crystals fill the sculptural vug in hematite and quartz-rich matrix. The crystals GLOW in bright light. Classic, old English material, seldom seen now in any size or quality. The 4 lines of superb printing on the 1.5 cm label on the back indicates this piece was part of a collection, that we know was auctioned in 1908! Ex Howard Belsky Collection. Valued at $900-1200 for crystal sharpness and form, richness, and the old age of this rare specimen. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!
