Item Description

Pharmacosiderite is an uncommon hydrated iron arsenate. This rich, rare and excellent older specimen is from the historic Schwarzenberg District of the Erzgebirge. Sparkly apple-green microcrystals richly cover three sides of the ironstone matrix. The faded, early 1900s Ash Collection label says Grench, but is most likely Graul. Ex Josef Vajdak Collection. Very rare on the market.
