Gemmy, lustrous, honey-brown, modified calcite scalenohedrons have striking white phantoms in every crystal and dramatically surround a nifty cluster of bright, brassy, iridescent pyrites cubes. Very showy and aesthetic combination material from this famous Shangbao Mine. Complete all-around. The trivial bit of bruising is noted to the large calcite, but is certainly only a modest detraction to this excellent piece from the Larry Krause and Cynthia Payne Collections.
