Item Description
A gorgeous, vivid pink, gemmy and euhedral pezzottaite crystal. The crystal has textbook tabular, hexagonal crystal form. Pezzottaite is the ultra-rare cesium analogue of beryl, first discovered in 2002. These caused a lot of excitement when they came out and were at first called raspberry beryl. Now known to be a new species...and the finds are DONE. Gone. Nothing since 2003. A very highly desired and rare gem species. 4.99 carats or 1.0 gram.
