Item Description

Typically Petalite occurs in colorless crystals, and are rarely well crystallized. This piece is an excellent crystallized example of the "champagne" color Petalite from a new find in Burma. This crystal has a unique etched appearance (somewhat resembling a caterpilar) with good gemminess and consistency of color. This is a worthwhile gem crystal display specimen that would fit nicely into many collections. You don't see Petalite like this from anywhere else as far as I know, and this somewhat blocky, yet sculptural piece is also about 90% gem quality, and would cut a superb stone as well! Don't miss out on this one. Valued at $400.
