Item Description

Good Petalites from Elba are uncommon and in very high demand, as are any minerals from these old mines. This is a large, gemmy crystal for the locality. This classic "Castorite," as these were once referred to, is etched and gemmy. For those so inclined, this has a mass of 19.26 grams, much of it cuttable. A very good, and important, specimen for the locality. Old Hugh Ford label. Last priced at $400.
