Petalite

Item Description

Petalite is a fairly rare lithium aluminum silicate, and occasionally superb gemmy crystals like this are found among the beautiful Tourmalines for which Paprok is known. This particular Petalite is large, semi-lustrous and rather gemmy. It has been slightly etched as are most, but easily retains the overall crystal habit. Complete-all-around, and an excellent example of the species. There is a spot in the center of the piece that is clean enough to cut a very nice gemstone.
