Item Description

Typically Petalite occurs in colorless examples from various world localities, and they rarely are well-crystallized.  This 2-crystal set gives us a different persepctive featuring one very pale straw colored crystal with strong hydrothermal etching on all sides, while the other is a notably well-formed, sharp, GEM quality colorless crystal, free of matrix. The crystals are a great example of how diverse the Petalites can be from Ketchel Village. A very worthwhile gem crystal set specimen that would fit nicely in many collections.
From the collection of Bill ("Burma Bill") Larson of Fallbrook, California. Bill is a well-known gem and mineral dealer as well as a miner and worldwide mineral collector. Bill has traveled the world for decades in search of fine gems and minerals, and was directly involved in the in-person acquisition and importation of superb specimens and stones from Myanmar (Burma).
