Most of the time the Peridot crystals from Sapat Gali are found in loose singles, but this piece is a wonderful multi-crystal group featuring excellent, sharp, lustrous, gemmy, superb green color crystals measuring up to 3.5 cm with minor Magnetite on the reverse side Very good condition all around, with no major damage, but there is a bit of interrupted growth in areas. My favorite part of the piece is that the crystals are really GEMMY, and the color is fantastic when the piece is backlit. These pieces started coming out in the early 1990s from this locality, and are now classic examples of what have become some of the finest Peridot crystals in the world. No world locality has produced the quality and quantity of euhedral Peridot crystals like Sapat Gali. This piece was priced at $4,800 in our inventory.
