Item Description

Most of the time the Peridot crystals from Sapat Gali are found in loose singles, but this piece is a wonderful multi-crystal group featuring excellent, sharp, lustrous, gemmy, fine green color tabular crystals measuring up to 1.7 cm free of matrix. Very good condition all around, with no major damage. My favorite part of the piece is that the crystals are fairly gemmy, which is noteworthy for the material. These pieces started coming out in the early 1990s from this locality, and are now classic examples of what have become some of the finest Peridot crystals in the world. No world locality has produced the quality and quantity of euhedral Peridot crystals like Sapat Gali.
