This gem is from Pakistan, where some of the world's finest Peridot gems are found. This "Emerald" cut gem is nearly eye clean with a lovely green hue. There are only a few world localities for gem Peridot, despite the fact that this is a well known gem. The best of the Pakistani gems are some of the most vivid and impressive Peridot stones that I have seen.
