Item Description

When searching for some mixed treasures from our back warehouse, and going into old boxes, we found this gorgeous specimen of pentagonite from a discovery circa 2010, that looks like nothing so much as a poky neon blue snowman with spikes everywhere. This is an exceptionally rich thumbnail sized specimen for the species, with absolutely stunning color and a lot of surface area to show it off. Definitely competition worthy in a thumbnail exhibit, compared to the normal sparsely crystallized examples we might see more often, if at all. Pentagonite is the rarer dimorph of cavansite - different crystal shape, but same chemistry (do not ask us why!). It is shippable, packed in soft plastic.
